at last!

ok.. i finally get some good rest.. and another off day ( dun ask).. so i'll do the update 1 post at a time. a long winded post is so not it. hee.

The Engagement

yea.. i know its 3 weeks due. but hei! its my engagement k. it was really2 hectic.. building up to the day. my parents & caveman were probably driven up the walls w/ my paranoia antiques. i cant help it la. i m a super planner. i analyse & reanalyse everything. no good for mommy. hehe! but i just cannot accept "releks la". worst " relek la. its just an engagement" arghhhh!! i was freaking out.. kept thinking.. gotta pee.. gotta pee! hahah! called bestie in cairo.. really wished yummy mummy & tall munchkin were there. but m sure they're thinking of me on dat saturday. hehe!

but praise to Allah.. it turned out soo right.

1. the weather was perfect. it was bloody hot the days before. but on the 19th.. and 20th.. it was windy.. the sun was up just right. perfect.

Note : pray and pray for a perfect weather on my wedding is my top priority now

2. the food was just right. i was freaking out. basically we all have never tried this caterer's food. which was recommended by another caterer. whom was too busy to take up our event. his lost. hah! the menu was.. lauk2 kampung. yummy. by 2.00.. ayam goreng sume abis. guests whom arrived at 3.. only manage to get the fishes. and the cupcakes were the star of the day. everyone loved em! thanks KuE

it was still the talk (the cupcakes) of the day.. till this day. my sis in law complained she didnt get em.. so did my mak andam. and so does a few more. maybe should get some for em. they were a huge help.

3. mak andam. a frightening experience. lucky me i insisted on a try out. well.. being my sis in law's friend.. boleh la kan i nak mengada ngada. hahah! and it turned out.. masyaAllah. so i insisted on using my own foundation.. and it turned out just the way its supposed to be. hee. its weird looking at my pix in makeup. and caveman, being a makeup hater.. luved it. phew. selamat. hee.

4. the reception was noted as a quaint, cute but over the top reception. my comment? i didnt spend a bomb & it was so me. problem is, i have 12 months to plan a wedding that can beat this engagement. hahahaha!

5. families and friends came. some didn't get to stay long. some travelled the nite before. some got lost along the way. some thought they got lost. some had a mini holiday w/ their families.. hit the beach folks! i luv the fact that they're using my engagement as a proxy for them to spend some good times at the beach w/ their families. hee. some even forgot there's an engagement.. and came after hitting the beach, when there's only fishes left. haha!

Note : must improve on the map. KM must be noted in. hee. done.

my mom's bestfriend told me.. after the engagement.. she liked it so much, she wanna get engaged. again. hahahahah!

hiarghhh!!

deadline.. deadline.. arghh tensen akuu!! i need some good food to kill this anxiety thingy majingy... arghh!!

ehem.. i m 1 bling richer today. well actually it happened yesterday. but the connection was so horrid, i cant go online.

didnt even take any pixs. very unlike me.. i hardly hold my camera this raya. the only i took was of the kids.. and yesterday.. was through caveman's handphone. which i bluetoothed to me. duno why i go through all the trouble. padahal hp sama. hahaha!

so the outlaws came.. and all hell broke loose! meaning.. my nephews were all over the house.. thrashing it like its no tomorrow. maybe they know the adults were all had to grit their teeth sebab ade guests. tensen aku.

but it went well. unconventional in the most conventional way. i was even in my green kebaya. though i hate green. but its all in the tactics la kot. hahaha!

all i can do now.. as poe said.. moisture sheet everyday!! hahah! and yes poe.. i m doing the pre make up thingy on friday. so that saturday tu aku taklah terkejut beruk tengok muka sendiri. hahah!

really wish the munchkins can make it. huk. hu.hu. pearly drops coming. hu. hu.. huuuuuuuuuuuu!

overwhelmed

m feeling a bit overwhelmed. still. everything is in order but me. tak rasa macam nak raya pun. check my baju raya & m like... m wearing this? all i can think about is my baju for 20th.. sempat siap ke idak. arghh! and bestie not gonna be around to go crazy. arghh! tall munchkin.. get ur ass here!! m a bit relieved that most of my closest are gonna be around. but being the greedy me.. i want all of my fav peeps w/ me. and paling touching.. kecik a.k.a duda a.k.a soulmate 1/2 masak.. says he'll be here in s'wan w/ me. complete in baju melayu. aku takot orang ingat die je tunang aku! hahaha!

monday blues

sigh. what a monday.

1. flunk my ccp. considering this is my 1st intake of paper 5.. banyak kali lagi la aku tulih menatang ni nanti. best news is.. still can claim gi course & gi exam. can go penang. woohoo!

2. outlaw says..1. caveman cannot attend the engagement. 2. caveman can attend but why must he be in baju melayu. no further comments as i have decided the taste of my caterer's food is a bigger issue to deal w/ than this. plus mummy says.. just put up w/ it. playing the good DIL, bad DIL la ni. die tak tau dlm ati aku dah nak jadik beruang. but then again.. mummies r always almost right. hee. sukati la.

3. canopy.. done. caterer.. done. damn i havent done the map thingy. but everything else.. done. except for 40 more cupcake cases. hehe! and my shawl. and i have no idea who is my mak andam & how good she really is.
