since caveman will be offshore this raya.. we decided to take our Raya photo earlier.. so he can take it on board with him.. awww.. how thoughtful of me.. kahkahkah!

with the help of a coffee table.. a pooch.. a book.. here's the result.

disclaimer : yes.. i need to loose those damn weight.. but hei.. m a nursing mom la..ehehhe!

out in the woods..

after reading yaya's entry on auf's day out.. i thought to myself.. oh yea.. hannah has never touched the dirty soil of our garden.. what more grass (or in our case.. pegaga.. rumput sume mati).

so she was a bit bored today.. and i didn't want to take her out .. (my back needs a rest..hehe) .. so i took her out on her bumbo to our garden instead. eversince i got pregnant.. i have been neglecting my garden.. and as a result.. it turned into a garden, that i didn't like. plants that i didn't like.. pots that i didn't like (i mean.. 20.. in a row? seriously?). so now that hannah is a biiittttt bigger.. i finally have the chance to redo our garden. in bits & pieces.

i have totally flipped the garden from an ala2 english garden (roses, hydrangeas.. what nots) to a tropical garden. since greens are less mean then roses.. so greens it is!

and the pegaga.. umm.. the grass were badly affected by the draught a couple of months ago (before we did the awning).. and at about the same time.. no one had the time to water the entire garden. so it died.. and the pegaga invaded the space. currently m defertilizing the soil & slowly i could see some grass again. yey.

hopefully by the time auf gets his tiny butt in lumut.. the garden is much better.. so we can bumbo bumbo both auf & hannah (weirdly.. the whole day hannah was going auf auf..auf auf hahahah)..

ketinggalan..

i just realised (among the many, many, many things that i tend to forget hehe).. that i haven't blogged about :

1. the kind, lovely peeps and families whole came to visit hannah & i since she was born..
mainly because i didn't take their photos with her.. sigh...
2. many major events.. i.e. birthdays, holidays.. bla bla..because.. errr.. err.. i just simply forgot.

dang... what has this blog turning into. ooo i know... i know...some mommy blog updated via cellphones. d'uh.

hannah & kenduri

ye.. hannah akhirnya berjaya dibawa ke kenduri kahwin yang pertama dalam hidupnya. maklumlah, anak dok venice.. tak tahan panas. but since she has the cold on her way to kluang.. i thought.. nothing some sun can't help. bring out the little dress & huge headband & off we go to my chu's place for her daughter's wedding..

amazingly she was not cranky.. for she met my cousin ain.. and they fell in love almost instantly. hannah has a thing that i notice.. she does not need time to like you.. she will instantly (if she does).. and loathe you immediately, if she does. people always says.. kids can see ghost.. in hannah's case.. i think she can tell if you have what we malays call it "hati kaudu" hahah! seriously. it was a case study done by my dad.. where we shove her to many different people (sedara and non sedara alike). most of these people are people we've known all our lives.. some she loves.. some she hates. those she hates are the people yang mulut jahat.. or mulut manis tapi hati busuk.. bla bla bla. at first we thought she only liked pretty people.. well guess what.. she liked our cleaner. *LOL*

anyways.. here are some photos of her at the wedding (yes.. gambor pengantin leh dikira dengan jari).

the sun did her good.. plenty of goobers out of the way (cian tudung maklong hannah) .. and she fell asleep in the car, on our way back to my bandak's.

the mm's

this year.. as usual.. caveman would not be around. yea, uhuh, ok. so what else is new, right? but i have hannah with me, right? so caveman asked.. what i want for my birthday. last year i asked for a white dining table for 6. because the (then) current dining table was a japanese style dining table .. where.. unfortunately, could not cope with my ginormous pregnant belly. or was it the other way around?

anyways..

being a momsy (sangatlah).. i thought of something that would be beneficial for both hannah & i. then i figured.. a new lense. i still have not finished reading my d60 manual. seriously. and i got that for my wedding hantaran. a new lense. fuh.. mencabar. i have been told by my brother and other photography enthusiast that i needed the 50mm afs lense for potraits. and you know how much that was. yes.. a whooping rm1,800++.

then my brother told me.. ala, get the 35mm instead la. you're a novice anyway (he didnt.. but m sure he wouldve if he got the chance..LOL).. scouting around at shashinki.com.. i got my lense.. and after much texts and phone calls later (especially to my friend zainur..thanks darl!!).. here's the first few attempts.. the last few belum pandai lagi. the first few dah pandai cket.. hehehe

i found these super cute photos (aku comot la tapi.. these a re my comot years LOL) of anwar (my brother), yaya & her brother boy.. i think i was probably 8 or 9.. sebab aku comot.. so aku scan je kecik2.. *LOL*

yaya's dad (my pakteh.. abah's younger brother) was an avid photographer. he took many of our early years photos. especially of my first brother while they were all staying together in JB.

the first was taken in teluk batik... gile suka la mandi laut time tu (sekarang pun.. but i've upgraded la kan.. tak kisah la baper kali dalam 1 century wa gi diving kan hahah)

the second was infront of my parent's. see how tiny my little brother was.

and the third was probably at the navy's muzium or something.. i bet our abahs made us stand there. haha!

there was another photo.. which resembled us very much in the future.. i can't believe i forgot to scan them... just you wait.. hee

looking back at mama's old pics.. there were many to laugh at. we try to reduce our melancholic mood to a minimal. people (especially mama's siblings) were always wondering how come Taman Hijau has the most of old pics. even of our arwah Tok Nyang's. what can i say.. my parents are a sucker of vintage *LOL*

this thursday.. insyaAllah.. we will be heading back again to Klg. yes, my shift is due. hee. so before i make my way back.. i've been super busy updating everything at the office.. as well as at the mushroom (which includes night shift laundry.. urghs)..
