Nite Shots on T50
The whole time i was in Padang, i was trying sooo hard to get the perfect nite shot. eventhough my pinjam white horse has stopped (poor horsie).. i still couldn't get the right shot. blur je. frustrating is an understatement.
so i search my flickr for other users of T50 to see if anyone got any perfect night shots using them. and came across msmail's flickr. damn! his (heRs?) niteshots were perfect! almost like dslr. so i dropped the photographer a note asking hows & whys.. and here's what he / she said :
"I had the camera set to either fireworks or twilight mode (in a dark environment, both give you a two second exposure, sadly it's the longest exposure the camera can handle).
Hold it steady, and open the shutter before the firework reaches its peak/explosion. You just have to aim where you think it's going to explode. The nice thing about fireworks is you can get a pretty good feel for the location after the first couple explode. Steadiness is the big thing. If you look around this set, you can find some that look sort of wobbly; those are where my hands moved while the shutter was open."
tak caya? check this link out...(where this pix i have borrowed, TQ!)
