saw this controversy on the net.. and E! couple of days ago... Jon Gosselin is having an affair. woo. i love this show.. wait.. i luv the kids, only. i hated the parents.. i thought the mom is a paranoid organizing compulsive freak.. the dad .. well.. i pity the guy. if i were to talk like that to caveman.. i know he's send me to the caves. teehee. but then again.. it would be unbelievably difficult to have 8 kids, right? but talking down to your hubby.. not only on national telly.. but the discovery channel? right.....

but we still don't know how far this goss is true.. it could all be for rating purposes.. hmm.. i googled them and it seemed there's even a blog hating them.. sigh..

The Gosselins have even shared on their program that they have professional lighting installed throughout their central Pennsylvania home so that the home is better equipped for filming.

a new leaf..

10 years ago.. at the though, sight, sound of tomok of new boyz would make me cringe. i'd burst into a laughing fit whenever someone brought back a malay entertainment magz & there's tomok in them. case in point .. just watch this vid. get my drift? *LOL*

a few months ago my little brother YM me with a link of tomok's myspace (or something.. i couldn't recall).. it was tomok announcing his comeback on the local reality tv show One In A Million (S3). reading that just made me laugh. again??? i thought he dissapeared for good.

so as the show went on.. i never did watch them.. i never do anyway.. until my dad kept telling me how good tomok is. hmm. weird. then my officemates were raving about it. cannot be.. kena tengok ni..

and i saw this..waaaaaa... neat! this guy has turned himself around. even caveman was hooked. this was the first time i saw a malaysian artist who turned himself around, totally. 10 years ago.. everyone hated tomok. well.. minus the screaming schoolgirls la kan.. (selected schools mind you LOL) . and now, he went on to win the One In A Million.

oh well.. there goes another million bucks..

since everyone is on this boikot barangan US merangkap yahudi zalim bandwagon.. i hereby proudly announce that i have not been driving through Mcd.. for as long as i could remember. i think. other than that.. the list is too endless.. and it would be a miracle if anyone can really boycot them all..

also.. last weekend i was bitten by a very local fire ant (ei.. semut api dalam wikipedia is fire ant ok *LOL*) .. gile sakit aa. it wasn't one of those red ones.. but black with yellow stripes ones. it was so painful i thought a bee (or worst that lipan or kala jengking .. my internal dictionary aint working this morning).. had stung me. turn out it was just an ant.. but the pain is unbelievable. but the doctor decided i did not need any injections..*phew*.. just a handfull of meds. yuck.

on my way back to my sis in law's place.. they stopped by the pasar malam cos the opah needed to get a kite for her cucu (typical). while waiting.. i was listening to fly fm.. and the campur chart (which i've never listened to before) was featuring zee avi. it turn out that she is making this huge wave in youtube via her home made videos.. and currently signed under brushfire records. mind you.. this means she is under the same label as jack johnson (of the white stripes).

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Malaysia on Tuesday canceled a concert by Canadian rock singer Avril Lavigne, saying it may taint the Muslim-majority country's independence day celebrations after the Islamic opposition slammed her show as being "too sexy."

The Arts, Culture and Heritage Ministry said it had decided not to permit Lavigne's show because it was unsuitable to Malaysian culture and could not be held on Aug. 29, two days ahead of independence day.

"It is not timely. It's not in the good spirit of our National Day. If we go ahead with the concert, it is contrary to what we are preparing for," said Shukran Ibrahim, a senior official from the culture ministry's department that vets all foreign artists.

The decision came after the youth wing of a fundamentalist opposition party, the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, called for the show's cancellation.

Kamarulzaman Mohamed, a party youth official, told The Associated Press on Monday that Lavigne's show was "considered too sexy for us" and would promote the wrong values just before independence day.

"We don't want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models," he said.

Lavigne, who became famous with her 2002 debut album "Let's Go," had planned to launch her monthlong Asia tour in Kuala Lumpur.

The show's promoter, Galaxy Group, can request a new date for the concert, which will be considered by the ministry, Shukran said. Galaxy officials couldn't be immediately reached for comment.

Galaxy began advertising the Grammy-nominated rock singer's concert this month even though it had yet to obtain a government permit, which is mandatory for all foreign music shows. It said Monday about half the concert tickets had been sold.

Last year, R&B singer Beyonce moved her show from Malaysia to Indonesia, and Christina Aguilera skipped the country on an Asian tour after a controversy erupted over a dress code for foreign artists.

Malaysia requires all performers to wear clothes without obscene or drug-related images and be covered from the chest to the knees. They must also refrain from jumping, shouting, hugging and kissing on stage.

Still, members of PAS and other conservative Muslims often protest against Western and even Malaysian music shows that they deem to be inappropriate.

The local organizer of a Pussycat Dolls concert in 2006 was fined 10,000 ringgit (US$2,857) after the U.S. girl group was accused of flouting decency regulations.
