pirates o pirates

a couple of weeks ago, caveman & i were watching the news when we saw the news on the hijack of an MISC tanker. it was a super scary news as the route taken by Melati 2 was the same route caveman used to take. boy m i glad he's no longer w/ misc.

then on saturday.. we came to know of another tanker being hijacked by pirates. also the exact same route caveman used to be on. even the same kind of tanker. sigh. i told him his decision to leave misc is a huge blessings. not only he's a lot nearer to home, he's faaarr away from these african pirates.

to the families of the seamen who are still missing.. my prayers goes out to all of you..

the day it was..

i didn't get to blog this the day it happened as i was a bit out of shape yesterday *grin*



but here it is..

Our PM announced the pump jump of RM0.78 per litre.. and the whole nation.. went bonkers. i knew this was coming.. at 18:00 i received txt messages and phone calls reminding me to fill up the tank.



it was the rush to the pump.. and true enough.. this tiny town was flooded! almost every petrol station was jammed w/ citizens trying to get the last discount *hee*

so i went ahead.. not to fill my tanks (the que is not worth my RM0.78 *LOL*).. but to watch the frenzy.. some of the pics were no good.. yela.. amik pics while driving.. cane kan? itupun dekat nak sodok kete depan.. hehe!



i just don't get it.. like, how long can this full tank last? probably even shorter then the time spent queuing up to fill it. this time the Malaysians have really outdone themselves. i mean.. it is expected, the price jump i mean. the whole world is facing it.. hello??? you are not the only one. we are still one of the cheapest. ok so it is pricy, but can we really complain when it is a necessity.. we don't have a substitute do we (hybrids aside.. )?



Malaysia memang boleh.. *LOL*
