daddy's home!

yeay. caveman's home after a short stint of 2 months offshore. yes, his contracts are now for 2 months only. wee!

unfortunately.. the previously lovely home coming he had in april was not so lovely this time around. hannah screamed.. sobbed.. scrreamed.. sobbed.. when she saw him. and would not go near him. i kid you not.

let's see where she;ll let him sleep tonight. hahahhaha!

little missy missing daddy..

as caveman's holiday is coming to an end.. hannah grew super attached to her "dede" (daddy the way she calls him).. and she gets very upset when daddy is not in her sight. once, she woke up sobbing.. crying "dede! dede".. its heart breaking, i swear!

oh man... this is going to be tough. and she is only 6 months old..

and he's leaving tomorrow.. and i just cannot imagine what's in store for me in the next couple of days. with her teething.. and her double shots coming up.. huarghhh!!

the damage..

my peeps have been telling me that i shall stop gaining weight in the last few weeks of gestation. i, on the other hand is still gaining a steady 500gm a week. as a consolation, i just think it all goes to munchkin (nak sedapkan ati sendiri) *grin*

part of it was also due to the boredness that is already kicking in. we know we should be spending plenty of time together (i've been forewarned over & over again that it will be impossible soon). so part of it was pigging out. and caveman, whom have been very strict with my diet.. is finally letting loose.. and let me run amok with all the things i wanna eat. before confinement hits. and you knowla when you plan to breastfeed.. the do not eat list is just never ending (take yummymummy who now no longer eat mcd burgers boohoo).

this one i drag caveman out of bed in the wee hours of the morning to have this roti canai by the kg. sitiawan river. this place is packed before 8am. tapi makcik yang usha semacam tu, i have no idea why. she only looked away when i put my camera away *LOL*

the 10th day of the month..

last year... on the 10th day of the 10th month.. (it was also the 10th Syawal).. at 10 in the morning.. a group of my favourite people gathered at our house (which caveman & i were slaving to get ready for the big day for months).. to be part of our big day..

i have never (apart from taking my SPM result... which, i got my dad to do it for me haha!) been such an emotional wreck. all thoughts crossed my mind... what if.. what if... and i get no sympathy from anyone!! huargh!! sume orang gelakkan aku ok.. sigh.. u people are mean.. *LOL*

it was a short.. but meaningful day. and eventhough the pengantin perempuan didn't have to do much (or say anything during the whole thing) .. i was soooo tired.. (must be the senyum sana sini hehe.. or was it because of the midnight hantaran thing??? hmmm)

so tomorrow is our very first wedding anniversary.. and though he's not here to celebrate it with me (i'll make sure he pays for this!!! LOL) .. it is still a big deal to me.

and though within a year.. i probably see him for only 2 months (yes.. 2 out of 12) .. i really didn't have much to complain, insyaAllah (cuma kadang2 rasa macam cekik darah gak la.. hahah) ..

i luv u shayaaaanngg!! happy 1st anniversary!

we don't like. i mean, as much as i like to have my king sized bed all to myself again.. i just hate the thought of going through the final trimester without caveman around.

i miss his already. even munchkin is less active today. probably missing daddy's voice.

2 bulan setengah.. counting down....

the one that passed the 1 pound mark..

as i read my babycentre and what to expect weekly updates.. i was informed munchkin is supposed to surpass the 1 pound mark. i was thinking.. ni ikut mat salleh standard.. cannot be. anak gadis saya kan gadis asia yang genit.

well.. i was wrong. she's just exactly that. and after i found out how much she weighs.. her kicking and punching and rolling is very strong. at 476gm.. i can't imagine at 2kg! hahah!

and the shopping has picked up its pace.. with caveman running in full mode. he's so into it.. he made mothercare card.. toys r us card.. god knows what else.. all in 1 day! i guess he got really excited after watching his first ultrasound... and munchkin was opening and closing her mouth.. like a fish! it was so cute.. and the more we laughed.. the more she did it. teehee.

of course we havent picked up the major stuff like the stroller.. and the car seat. i know i want those infant to toddler convertible kind.. i just haven't had the time to find them. i love her crib, her chest cabinet and her uber cute swing/rocker thing. and caveman is determined to get her one of those exer-saucer.. since the walker is highly discouraged.

oh well... good nite peeps..

and then there's work..

huh. june. i hate june. it one of those overworked months. but this year.. m just chillin it. who cares. bonus.. no bonus.. makes no different to me.. i am content. ewah. *LOL*

it was a fab morning though. finally got a call from caveman *swoon* ofcourse.. he's still not back in KSB.. satelite phones rocks! *grin* he was very surprised to hear i haven't (read : Haven't) bought anything for little munchkin. not even booties / mittens, he asked? well.. being pregnant, alone.. is already no fun. let's not make the shopping a misery. teehee..

sigh.. i miss my husband.

and.... risya corner emailed me saying the audrey i wanted is sooo available. *floats on jerebu* banyak pahala membahagiakan orang mengandung... heheheheheheh!

i went to get my monthly facial fix today.. and she offered to do my confinement massages. *wee* !!

sigh.. i shall a good sleep tonight. but wait....! my loo is under repair.. huuhuuu!

the in betweeners..

in between the loss of appetite (it finally happened peeps!) .. the nausea.. the fatigue.. the sky high work load.. caveman leaving tomorrow (sobs... no more personal slave.. err assistant).. its been too much.

but i did not gain another 4kg (phew). i lost some actually (sobs)..

i miss caveman already..

i'm tired.. so i'm excused from my domestic goddess position... only to piss me off to find dusts lying around...

i'm crampy so i've been excused from my laundry job .. only to irritate me when i find the clean laundry lying around.. unfolded... unironed..

i'm sleepy .. so i get to sleep whenever i want.. but only to drive me mad because.. caveman is left alone watching telly.. and he's leaving soon..

my boobs hurt (and i cant wear any of my bra anymore).. my belly is round & stiff (no boys cut undies please.. ) m hungry.. no m not.. yes i am.. or is that gas.. ? and i cant fit into my normal pants anymore.. *sobs*

and i pee like a horse.. and fart like a boy...

m just moody..!

but on the upside... munchkin have been acting up well.. only acts up at night.. not during the day when its crazy busy.. thanks luv...

the number 2

i finally get to see the updated fififlafla blog which has been blocked for the past days (i think). i came across a very sweet entry.. noting their second anniversary..

their wedding was a good one.. one where we all had fun.. and looked good (i was on my best kilos.. break ups do good things to me.. got me down to 47kg. woohoo!)

their wedding also reminded me of caveman. whom i met right before her wedding. we were all in KL for fififlafla's hen night. after 9 years of knowing her.. we finally get to party together. it was a great one at HRC.. tapi awal benor dah penatnye (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!! LOL).

the next day was spent at a spa in melawati.. followed by a huge meal of pizza. yumyum. we had to meet up with baby's then fiance (now hubby - who's also caveman's bestie) at the klcc dome. so that was how i met caveman. he was being .. himself. ignorant. annoying. pisses the hell out of me. and didn't even ask for my number.

i had just got out an annoying relationship months (or was it weeks? hmm.. hee!) before this event.. so to me.. man? yea.. whatever. but as my peeps who knows me too well.. i get into them.. just as easy as i get out of it. teehee. well a girl gotta move on right?

he asked for my number from the newly engaged couple. and i still didn't want to pay attention or find anything interesting about him. even when he asked me to marry him less than 8 weeks of knowing each other. gile.

it was until he left for mumbai.. and left for 8 months.. it was until then i realise there is something. three is indeed a lucky number fififlafla.. i finally said yes after the third time.. and we got engaged less then a year of knowing each other.

and got married less then a year after that.

people still ask me.. why him?

i don't know.. i still don't.

i don't know how to put it in words. but i'm sure you can tell in our faces

(yummymummy.. the host is CHi??!!!? u knowww.....??? that Chii... *LOL* lis.. jangan buat2 tak kenal. aku upload gambor korang kang) .. i kept thinking to myself.. how come none of my peeps ever wanna do a backpacking .. or whatever kind of trip .. around our own country. i myself did Java.. and didn't even consider Malaysia.

hmm..

i know caveman is not a fan of backpacking trips... but then again... if i fine tune it .. say.. a road trip w/ the bat mobile & pish posh cribs..? *LOL*
