when i first finished uni.. i read about this movie Amélie its an award winning french movie about an introvert waitress who tried to change the lives of the people around her, for the better.
today, out of boredom, i decided to watch a movie through watch-movies.net ( after the giving up on gossip girl). scrolling through the list of movie under A.. i was ready to give up. tak tau nak tengok pe. then i came across Amélie
oh man! this is one very, very good movie!! seriously. i didnt think i was gonna like it, being it in french and all (there are english subtitles).. but.. i loved it. it's very whimsical.. and funny..and Amélie has got the be the sweetest thing!
Amélie won best film at the European Film Awards; it won four César Awards (including Best Film and Best Director), two BAFTA Awards (including Best Original Screenplay), and was nominated for five Academy Awards. (Wikipedia)
please, please, please watch it (if u havent).. trust me..do forgive me for recommending gossip girl (unless u r under 19.. probably it would appeal to u). i was high on sausages (and u wondered why the diets never worked) when i was posting the thingy on gossip girl. hahaha!
